The Crossing

A long distance made intimate by two tiny figures.

The Crossing uses scale to make patience visible. Most of the surface is quiet: pale sky, rust earth, a hard edge between them. At the centre, a traveller and camel take one measured step. The piece is about carrying what matters and continuing without spectacle.
