After the Drive
The machine has stopped, but the picture still feels like it is moving.
After the Drive begins where a cleaner story would end. White brushstrokes sketch a car that feels remembered rather than recorded; above it, small figures hover like witnesses or fragments of a dream. It is less about the crash than the strange stillness after momentum leaves the frame.
This text is a creative reading of the image, not a factual account of how the work was made.
